We are so excited to know that, without a doubt, we are having a girl!!!  The baby was awake throughout the entire ultrasound, which lasted an hour.  She was pretty feisty - kicking and rolling away right as the tech. got a good picture of the images that were needed.  It was quite enjoyable to watch her squirm about!  She is pretty active in there.  From the measurements, she is tiny at just 11 ounces.   We were given yet another due date, so now we have three - September 30, October 10, and October 16.  Should make betting on the birth date pretty interesting!

Aside from showing that our little peanut is perfectly healthy with everything where it should be, we learned that the placenta is not where it should be.  The baby is laying over the placenta, which is called placenta previa.  Another ultrasound will be scheduled about a month before my due date (probably at the beginning of September).  If the placenta has not moved above the baby by then, a c-section will be scheduled.  Of course I don't want to go through that, so let's hope mother nature moves everything into its proper place!

I will have more details after I see my midwife next week.  Watch for another picture in about a month and some games as the due date(s) approach!
